Santa Fe Opera:
Ever Since the start Santa Fe opera company has been located hundreds of miles from any major city or metropolitan area, with American singers in a wide-ranging and challenging repertory, and treating theatrical and musical values as equally important in its productions. Subsequently, by 1760 the Village was named "Don Fernando de Taos" by the Spanish settlers. Historians believe the name is attributed to Captain Don Fernando de Chavez, one of the settlers prior to the rebellion, who owned the land currently known as the Cristobal de la Serna land grant. Don Fernando never came back after the rebellion. Read more...

Jeff Northrup may be the biggest idiot I have ever seen (I tended bar for most of my life so I have seen alot). Jeff really has no cause, all I can figure is he is a dumb ass for hire. I think (but have no proof except common sense) he must be paid by Smith's or Allsups. Why else would this moron spend day after day putting those ugly florescent signs all of our beautiful town of Taos?
